A Little About
The Uncompahgre River Valley Rodeo

The URV Rodeo is preserving western heritage and creating the future of rodeo in the Uncompahgre River Valley. The goal of the URV Rodeo is to introduce young people to the exciting sport of Rodeo and a lifestyle that builds real character.

The URV Rodeo is a unique family event with weekly performances. Young riders can ride a mutton. Pro riders put on the big show with Bronc’s, Bulls, Barrels, Roping, and many more competitions.

The URV Rodeo looks forward to preserving our western heritage, building our partnership within the community, and making a tradition of a weekly rodeo series in the Uncompahgre River Valley.

The URV Rodeo Summer Series will be held Monday nights starting June 4th and continuing for 12 weeks. There is an exception of the week of the Montrose County Fair.

The URV Rodeo is hoping to make this a family event! Our goal is to provide families with an affordable event on Monday nights. We will be offering free admission to seniors, Veterans, and Active duty military. The little ones under 5 will also be free!

Bring your friends and family and join us at the Montrose, Colorado Rodeo at the Montrose County Outdoor Fairgrounds every Monday night from June 4th thru August 27th.
